<p>The questions on the PSAT aren’t actually EASIER, but many consider it to be an easier test just because there are far fewer sections and no essay.</p>
<p>Easier in that its shorter and covers slightly less material (its targeting juniors). </p>
<p>But not easier in that you will get a better score. All standardized tests are scaled, which means they reproduce a bell curve based on the agrregate scores. Every standard test…act, sat, psat…does this, so if the test really was “easy” they would just shift the scale so they got the same results.</p>
