PSAT Score

Hello, I am currently a sophomore in high school and very disappointed in my PSAT score. Freshman year I got an 1830 and sophomore I got a 1850 (CR: 65 M: 59 G: 61). I thought I would improve more. I did not take studying seriously as I should have; both of the tests were taken without any prep whatsoever. I am stronger in writing and weaker in math (I am quite slow). In the math section, I was not able to finish all the questions and guessed on several of them.
I was wondering on how I did in comparison to others. I known this does not even close to National Merit, but I want to see how I am currently standing and what I can do to improve. This is my first time on this forum so please be nice  Thank you.

I improved more on my SAT than my PSAT. To improve I would say maybe take a prep class your junior year, invest in a few prep books (if you need suggestions you can PM me), and just practice. I love doing the SAT questions of the day, they help a lot and if you make an account you can track your progress. You’re a sophomore and still have time, don’t stress about it

Any idea on what an average class might cost? My PSAT was 1620 and I need to improve quite a bit.

@Orioles21 Depends if you want to do any online course or in person.

thank you very much!

In our area, the in-person prep courses cost about $800-1000 for 30 hour courses. I would budget roughly $30/hour of instruction. Private tutors can cost 4x or 5x as much.
