PSAT Scores soon!

PSAT scores come out in about a week. Who's excited? D:

I don’t even care. I know I probably got around a 60 in CR, MAYBE a 70 in Math, and hopefully at least a 75 in Writing. Overall, I sucked it up.

Let’s post our scores on this thread though.

I’m pretty excited, considering they do come in a week. I heard mid-December from my counselor and CB…

I am excited. Very excited.

I would be excited, but our counselors suck and usually don’t hand them out till mid-January…

samesies. It’s annoying

Why’re you excited for test results that don’t even matter?

…National Merit…

They matter. If you score high enough you can get scholarships. $$$ = good.

^
Isn’t that a big award?

But I feel like I’ll be angry beyond belief in a week. If I missed it, it was by a few points. And I think I missed it.

you spelled Massachusetts wrong

I’m so ****ed I missed one on the math…an easy one too :'(

So…a $2500 scholarship given to under 9,000 kids that won’t make or break any application…Woo…

Also, think about it, who’s going to be asking you your PSAT score in 5 years? No one.

That same argument can be made about pretty much everything you do in High School. That doesn’t mean it is useless and trivial.

I’d be excited, but I most likely missed the cutoff by a few points  oh well… there’s always national achievement though.

Noob question, but how do they score this? IS there a PSAT score/SAT score comparison chart or something?

It comes out Dec. 6th right?
I thought it wasn’t too bad, but then again I couldn’t remember what I put down which is a bad indicator…and I erased a lot. :|

They score it the same way they do the SAT, but it’s divided by 10. So, if you get a 200 on the PSAT, that’s a 2000 SAT.

I didn’t give my all when I took the PSAT. Honestly, I had more **** I was worried about that day.

So I’ll take whatever I get.

^Good attitude. Don’t worry about a bad score, just take it.
