Hi
Well, i got into PSEO program at U of M for next year.
And I'm really confused about the economics class.
I have to take Economics class for my high school graduation requirement.
I don't know if I have to take Micro or Macro. (I think Macro, but I'm not sure.)
So if I have to take Macro, I need to take a math class to take Micro and then take Macro, because Micro's prereq. for Macro and Math is prereq. for Micro.
I'm so confused and I can't contact my counselor at hs.
I just wanted to know what other pseo kids did.

Thnks!

For Econ, you will need to have taken 1 semester of college math and 1 semester of social science. I had orientation today and I was part-time so registration was smooth. Others before me couldn’t get into their choice of course because most are full. Check the course guide to see if the lec, dis, etc is available. If you are full-time, it may be harder to get the classes that you want because most english and science classes are full because only 2-3 seats are reserved for PSEO students for each section.

Good Luck! By the way, I will be a Senior, how about you?

Thnks!
ugh I have to take Macro, so scheduling might be complicated.
And yes, I’ll be a Senior too! :)

At the U, Microeconomics is required as a prerequisite for Macroeconomics. Unless you are planning a future in business/economics, you could see if your high school will allow you to substitute Micro for your Macro requirement - my daughter’s high school did.
