PSP Finalists announced Feb 3.

Yes, they do. You'll need to talk to Financial Aid to see what they can do for you (and remember to negotiate a little).

I got waitlisted. I'm really surprised, I thought I'd get it.

"From the 602 semifinalists, we have chosen 110 as PS winners. We have turned down 451 applicants, which leaves us with 41 with your same status.

As students decline the President's Scholarship and if space remains, we will offer students from the wait list. Last year, we eventually made PS offers to all students who stayed on the wait list. I don't expect that to happen this year, but it is impossible to know at this point. If you are promoted from the wait list before President's Scholarship Weekend--March 6-7--you will have the chance to compete for the full range of President's Scholarships, including up to a full ride. If you are promoted from the wait list after PS Weekend, you will simply be offered the PS at the base level, which is $4,000/year for GA residents or $12,500 for non-GA residents."

Thanks for the information, no email yet.

Brian.2009-Would you mind saying who sent you the "waitlist" email? Was it the Georgia Tech PSP office or the person who interviewed you? Thanks.

I'm in state, and I just got the email saying I got psp.
Paraphrased:

We regret to inform you ...

Zebes, breathing a sigh of relief, actually. We got our burning bush. Now waiting for 2/13 for UF, which will be a whole lot closer to home. :)

It was from Randy McDow, the head of the PSP.

Wow. I didn't get in... didn't even get waitlisted.

Not trying to sound egotistical, but that was not expected.

I got the ps too. I'm out of state and very excited at the news. Anyone have any idea about what the psp weekend plans are? I'd like to know what to expect. Thanks.
