PSPs

i must say that what classprezcj is talking about is not possible for game versions 1.51 and above. the good part is that it will for lower versions. i have a PSP too

<a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Universal_Media_Disc#Circumvention%5B/url%5D">http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Universal_Media_Disc#Circumvention</a></p>

If you want it for the video purpose of it, you aren't looking at the right stuff.

PSP isn't worth it for multimedia purposes. The memory sticks are too expensive and it doesn't have enough space.

Get portables that were created for video and multimedia purposes, not gaming purposes. There are tons of them out there... Get a PMP not a gaming system.

<a href="http://www.mobilityguru.com/2004/12/16/microsoft_gets_inside_samsung/index.html%5B/url%5D">http://www.mobilityguru.com/2004/12/16/microsoft_gets_inside_samsung/index.html</a></p>

something like these two. I'm not recommending these two especially (i would look heavily into many different ones though) They tend to have bigger spaces and just overall better for media purposes..

I was thinking about getting a PSP once but i got an mp3 player that played video and played all the file formats i wanted.. for the same price (and 20 gbs instead of 1gb or 4 gb)

P.S. wow it's amazing people cracked it. Holy s*it. there's nothing people cant hack...

The DS is way better. The DS also has a web browser coming out (although for $20). Since the DS has a touch screen, that automatically makes it better than the PSP's could ever be. And there is a media player for DS (that can also play illegal versions of DS, GBA, NES, etc. games) that you can import that uses standard flash formats instead of Sony's expensive stuff.

Games is where the DS really shines (as it should as a gaming system). Online Tetris DS, online Metroid Prime: Hunters, online Animal Crossing, New Super Mario Bros., Brain Age, Big Brain Academy, Yoshi's Island 2, online Pokemon Diamond and Pearl, Advance Wars DS, online 42 All-Time Classics, the Castlevania series, etc., plus all GBA games.

And just for a little fun, in Japan last week the DS sold 6,344 units compared to the PSP's 35,938.

...

The DS Lite sold 262,453.

You know this reminds me of the time my friend won PSP at after prom party....

And she didn't know what it was. (it ****ed so many gamers off! (because it was when it just came out) And she only watches movies on it... sigh

ever seen smash my wii or smash my psp videos? id want to do that but with a psp or ds

I think PSPs are worthless.

I have an mp3 player
I haev a DS (with better games, imo)
and I have a laptop

What can PSP do for me? I don't care that it can play games and music at the same time... its too large to put in my pocket and I don't want to type by pushing 4 buttons.

What you do is buy a PSP and a 1GB mem stick. Then just dump ISOs and ROMS on it.

i <3 my psp

You know one more reason to get one? There are adult videos that can be played on those PSP consoles. Nintendo would never allow that on their family consoles.
