psu abington ranking?

how does penn state abington rank in comparison to other schools? i mean academically, where does it stand?

You’ll be on the map if and when you transfer to main.

lol i’m guessing that means abington isn’t the best?

A Penn State degree will take you pretty much anywhere you want to go, but I would definitely be looking to get to main. From what I’ve heard, main campus is pretty much infinitely better than the satellite campuses, and your opportunities after graduation will be a lot better. This is all what I’ve heard though, I don’t go to PSU.

If you do graduate from PSU-A, your diploma and your transcripts will just read PSU. So in a sense, it doesn’t even matter that you weren’t at the main campus.

If you need to start at PSU-A because there isn’t space at the main campus, or because you need to commute to school to make it affordable, that is perfectly OK. The campus is smaller so it is likely that your introductory level classes will be smaller, and that you will have better access to your professors. Many students do transfer to the main campus after a year or two, so if you want to (or your major requires you to), you can do that then. Just remember, that one reason there will be space for you at the main campus later on is that so many students who start out at the main campus don’t last.
