PSU/Jefferson

Is it true that 60% of those who got the interview get accepted into the program?

I believe so. I talked to some of the directors up at PSU and they confirmed this

that's crazy, they said that they were interviewing 1000 people on wednesday...is this 60% just for direct med, or fer everybody, because i don't see a class of 600 happenin fer med school.

haha.. i think you got your numbers mixed up. i believe they're interviewing 100 not 1000!

on the letter it said 1000, tho...weirdddddd

I'm pretty sure it's 100. Interviewing 1000 people on the same day doesn't make any sense to me.

EDIT: The 1000 people might also include regular students coming out of undergrad.

my bad...CC24 is right, i misinterpreted what the letter said

What are you (guys) wearing to the interview? Full out suit or just shirt & tie?

Full suit. If they're going to ask me to come all the way from Texas I sure as hell ain't going to wear just a shirt and tie.

Any girls out there have suggestions? I have no idea what to wear!

(also yeah: 1000 applicants to Jefferson total, 100 that day all for the PMM program)

What were we supposed to do with that supplement sheet asking for legacy information?

u are supposed to have it faxed over before u go

Interviews tomorrow... get excited?

i'm pumped.

It was awesome meeting all of ya today!

Cool...my first interview went pretty well.

I wonder who I saw today that I've talked to on CC..it's a mystery!

o_o

yah..pipinghottofu i didnt see you! at least i think i didnt
lol
when do we get notification? late march they said?

Felt mine went pretty well. Too bad no tour. How did you guys feel it was?

I think that mine went too...anyone else have Dr. O'Connor for their faculty interview? We hardly talked about medicine at all, I spoke about it more with the student. :-</p>

And yeah, I think that Mid-Late March we hear back.
