i got accepted into the normal school, but when are they supposed to give out their decisions about the guaranteed med program?

^same...haha i love how you call it "normal school" :D

...and i dunno about when the guaranteed med decisions come out...anyone else have any idea?

when/how did you guys find out about the regular college acceptance? I got accepted into the honors program, but I havent heard anything from VCU undergrad itself. Also, did y'all get the email from Anne Chandler verifying that they have proper emails for all of us?

I got the e-mail from Anne Chandler 2 days ago and the admission to VCU undergrad about a week after acceptance to the honors program.

yup i got the "test-do not respond" email from Dr. Chandler yesterday...

...and i got my undergrad admission first, then honors... about a week apart

i first got accepted to the Honors program then the undergrad too. i also received an email saying that i got invited for an interview for the Guaranteed program! did anyone else get this far also?

no i didnt. does that mean i didnt get an interview?

I got an interview invitation

Shouldn't the two VCU threads be combined?

crap...i didn't get an interview invitation yet...so does that mean no interview??...... damn i hate this :(

okie sorry abt the repetitive posting...but i just called 'em...i didn't talk to dr. chandler directly, talked to the secretary instead...and she told me that not all emails have been sent out yet, but ALL OF THEM WILL BE SENT OUT BY THE END OF TODAY

goes back to pressing the refresh button in email inbox....lol... damn i'm even more nervous now....:D

mm. how were your essays?

lol, I don't remember how many essays there were and all, all I remember is that I had one essay that I felt was quite good. I made some of my friends from stanford read it and they thought it was great, and that I had a VERY good chance at VCU and other colleges. I'm not letting this discourage me, but I still am a bit sad....you think if I call them up they will tell my why they rejected me?

yeah.. there was one essay for the Gmed program. I dont know if they considered the regular VCU essay. Hmm.. it wouldnt hurt to give them a call. Perhaps you can find out the numbers of how many applied and stuff.

yeah....were you guys around the same level as me, or is there something everyone did to set them apart?

i didn't hear anything from vcu yet except a postcard saying they had received my application- should I call them?
