Psu transfer smeal college

Can you transfer into smeal as a junior transfer?

bump. I know its a dumb question.

Edit: Ahhh wait sorry, my brain didn’t register the “junior transfer” part. According to the info below, I’m afraid you can’t as a junior. =(

[Transfer Requirements - Penn State Undergraduate Admissions](http://admissions.psu.edu/academics/majors/requirements/transfer/)

The requirements are actually kind of confusing. In bold it says: Transfer students to Penn State University Park must have taken two years of full-time college coursework before the time of transfer. Some programs have additional requirements that are noted below.

But as a Smeal requirement it says: No transfer admission into any program in Smeal College if you have 3 or more semesters of work. If you have 2 semesters of work, a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 is required as well as 3 credits of either English composition/literature or effective speech and 3 credits of either college algebra or calculus.

I take it that you would be fine if you were a first year transfer and transferred into one of the branch campuses as opposed to University Park. Internal transfers at Penn State are actually easily done provided that you have all of the prerequisite classes completed.
