When was your status updated. I am in close range to your stats. 3.68W with 1980 SAT and 28 ACT. Engineering -PSU too… Not seeing the update. Only says “your Credentials under review”.

Can you pl. let me know, when was your status update and you are 3.8+ or 3.7xxx GPA.

That would provide me some more confidence…

My daughter received an acceptance in the mail today for PS-UP for nursing. I understand that many of the nursing acceptances typically go out in December and January. She applied in mid-October.

For those who like numbers: 27 ACT, top 2% of her public high school class (weighted), started in 3 varsity sports last year ( and probably this year), 7 AP classes , volunteered in a hospital.

Now I just need to try to get her to complete her 3 Schreyers essays, which she doesn’t want to do.

Right now, she thinks she’d prefer a smaller college where she could spend all 4 years at the same location (instead of having to go to Hershey for a year or two) and where she could play a varsity sport. She wouldn’t make it onto a Penn State UP Team.

Hi Dragon,
It is actually my son who was accepted.
His status was updated Wednesday and it is still not changed to accepted online but he did receive his admission letter today in the mail. As far as the GPA, it was 3.7xx.

Your stats are actually higher than his so that should bode well for you.

Your good! You should get your acceptance very soon! My D1’s status changed at midnight a few days after “coming days” status, don’t know if they all change at midnight but that year(fall 2011 start) they did. Hang in there, you are sooooo close!

@fionaf I’m pretty sure you’re in. Penn State doesn’t start making rejections until late November. I haven’t heard of anyone getting rejected from University Park yet that is finding out now. I could be wrong though.
