I am in like 3 clubs at my school, am treasurer of National Honor Society, have many volunteer experiences, and have been awarded student of the month. I also have two really good teacher recommendations.

With all of that do I have a chance to be accepted into University Park? It’s my top school and I’m just dying to get in.

I second afrojack’s advice. I have seen how much once can improve with SAT/ACT. Just go for some couching help if required. CR score and improvement is really important and exciting.

My 2 cents:; and I am sure you would make it…

Will my chances be lowered if literally everyone from my school is getting accepted? A handful of my classmates have been accepted and I’m afraid that they won’t need any more people from my school. It’s also annoying because half the these people have no intentions of going there, just applied because it was quick and easy -.-

same with me nervousgal…i really want to go and haven’t heard yet…so many applied and were accepted from my school also with no intention of going! good luck to you!

[] SAT: 1740
[] SAT IIs: –
[] GPA: 3.7 (92%) weighted, my grades had a dramatic upward trend since freshman year.
[] Rank: –
[] Other stats: I only have 2 APs and that’s in my senior year, which they don’t look at - so I wouldn’t stress about that. Plus, I don’t have many extracurriculars and only take Honors English each year, and I’ve taken Honors Bio, Honors US History, Honors NSL, and that’s about it I think. I’m not an outstanding student, you don’t need a 2300 to get in. I was freaking out about that too.
