<p>I am going for undecided within engineering and am deciding between University at Buffalo and Penn State University. UB would be around 12k and Penn State would would be around 37k. Is Penn State's engineering department worth that much more than UB, would getting a job or going to a good grad school be alot easier at Penn State? I probably like Penn State a little bit more but I am not sure if it is worth the money, what do you think?</p>

<p>Unless you absolutely hate UB and your family can swing it, i would definitely go to UB. You will have a good time, get a good education, and have a college experience anywhere you go. Of course, PSU is more well known, especially for engineering, but hard work is a cure for anything IMO.
