PSU vs UMD

I was accepted into Penn State and U Maryland. I live in Massachusetts but and made the 8 hour drive down to visit both of them. However, I had a change of heart from my previously intended major and thinking about going undeclared with a vision of either business or engineering.

From what I have read and seen in the rankings (yes, I know there's only so much truth to them) PSU and UMD have respectable programs, but since I did not learn enough about the programs when I visited, I was hoping I could get some insight.

What do you know about their programs? Do they have any specialities? Any information you can give me would be great; networking, internships, difficulty, prestige, graduate success, class size, social life associated with students in major...anything!

ka bump bump

Are these programs any good?

Trumpet, what major are you interested in?Where would you like to eventually live? This information might make a difference.

Honestly, unless you are majoring in accounting and want to practice in either Md or Penn, it doesn’t really matter. I would pick the one that would be the lowest cost.Frankly, I don’t understand why you didn’t go to UMass. I don;'t think that either one is necessarily better than UMASS, and UMASS would probably be a LOT less expensive
