My interest in Psychology has been growing each day. I plan to major in Business and minor in Psych. Is that a good combination...anyone has done it? And last but not least, what's the word around about the Psych department, classes and such?

you can major and minor in whatever you want here
some guy i know is double majoring in one thing from the eschool and one thing from clas so seriously you can do anything.
ummm i think its funny how all of the entry level psych classes require you to be part of experiments, but other than that i hear a lot of them are good.

Haha..I won't mind the experiments...unless they involve physical and emotional torture :

The experiments can be pretty fun. They give you a bit of insight into experimental research and some perspective on the different areas of psychology. Sometimes they also give you candy! Wheee!

A friend of mine who's a non-major signed up for personality psych this semester and was worried about the experiments. I lied and told him that I had electrodes attached all over my body, and that the researchers sent painful volts of electricity through me. His reaction was priceless.

LOL (10 chrs)
