Psychology courses

I am a freshman nursing major who has 33 credits upon entering FSU thru clep, ap and aice. Im trying to fill up my schedule for spring, 2013 as alot of my courses are completed.

I received a 5 on my AP Psychology course and therefore received credit for psy2012. Im considering a minor in Psy as I only need 3 more courses which would help me fill in the gaps until Junior year when I can start taking my nursing courses.

Taking Biology next semester, nutrition and life span development. I think life span and nutrition are pretty mild mannered courses. Can anyone suggest an interesting psy course. I would lean towards a course that deals with woman if possible. Not trying to take the most difficult course as I really want to focus on biology and get an A.

Why not just look at the course listings. It’ll list all the courses you can take and will state which ones will count or not count towards major.

I can do that, but in the past I have gotten some good advice from others on cc and they have also told me what professors are good. But thanx for your help

My cousin is a Psychology major here at FSU, and she mentioned Child Psych (DEP 3103) was one of the more interesting courses she has taken so far. She also really liked Brain and Behavior. Hope that helps!

If you’re looking to minor in Psychology, the Research Methods class is probably a good one to take. I know a lot of Psychology classes require that as a pre-req.
