looloo123, contact the department heads of both universities. Devise a good list of questions. Find out what is unique about the psychology dept. at each university. Ask why it would be a good place to go to school. Ask if there is any certain area of emphasis the university is known for. Ask how many students are in the program, and how long it has been a part of the university. Ask if there are research projects for students to become involved with. Ask how impacted the classes are. (aka difficult to get into) Ask if the department has a newer or older facility. You get the idea. The last thing you should ask is if there is anything you did not already ask about that you should know. Thank the person you talk to for helping you. If you get into a really great conversation with them, and make them like you perhaps they will give you advice on how to get into the school. It is certainly worth a try. :)
