I have a very tough decision to make, UCLA or CAL. I'm a psychology major, planning on working in human resources. Which school provides more opportunities for that? I'm not really sure how the psychology majors compare/focus on at either schools. Any help would be appreciated! :]

UCLA’s Psychology program is ranked highest in the nation. You shouldn’t base your decision solely on that though. Keep in mind the school, campus, financial aid, location, student body, etc.

Hmm. human resources is more of a business major related field, but obviously you can still pursue that career you’d just have to consider grad school. For this reason, i dont think it matters where you go for undergrad, if you are really interested in human resources than go to a GRAD school that specializes in that program after completing your undergrad. do internship/volunteer while in undergrad to help boost your chances for grad school.

hth

Thanks for the feedback! I’m a first generation college student, so i have no idea how internships work - i was hoping someone would give me an idea of how they work or how they’re attained at either school. I live in LA, so would it make sense to go to UCLA so that I can get internships while school is out?
