I'm currently a History major and want to add a minor. I'm interested in political science and public affairs-public policy. I've taken 2 classes already in poli sci and will be taking 1 lower div in public policy winter quarter. Both minors have the same number of classes required for the minor, but I'm only going to do 1.

Theses are just my thoughts, but I personally feel that the Public Affairs minor is...better? It seems to be more specific, economic/stats based, and would more likely help me get a job than a minor in political science. A minor in poli sci seems pretty worthless to me as it's mostly theoretical. But likewise, I don't know. Do employers even care?

Lastly, my main question is, does it matter if I want to go to grad school for Public Policy? I am not 100% sure what I'd like to do in the future, but I've considered law school and going for a MPA/MPP. UCLA, for instance, offers a Master's program in Public Policy. If I wanted to attend UCLA for grad school in Public Policy, do I need a undergraduate degree in Public Policy/Public Affairs? Or does it no matter?

I was looking at this:
Program Profile Report - Public Policy

It doesn't seem that hard to get accepted to UCLA for Public Policy (49% admission rate) and the program is 2 years. And...I'm not sure about this...but...isn't a MPA/MPP similar to an MBA? I mean, it's different, but it's just as practical. A Masters in Poli Sci seems kinda...useless? I mean, what the hell do you do with it?
