Public health and biology major at Elon?

<p>I can't seem to find any info regarding these two majors.</p>

<p>Can anybody give me their input or experience?</p>

<p>^^given the limited population of CC posters, i would highly recommend contacting either your admissions counselor from your state or the department in question; I’m sure they would be thrilled to put you in contact with current students in your major…</p>

<p>What do you want to know? Public Health is a brand new major this year, and is interdisciplinary (meaning it’s not in its own department; it requires classes from a number of different departments). You probably can’t find much on the major because the first cohort of students just began the major. The biology major is pretty standard for an undergraduate institution: small classes, close interaction with faculty, research opportunities for undergrads to do independent work, etc.</p>

<p>My suggestion would be to visit the school and see if you can sit in on a class or two. Meet with students and faculty. That will give you a sense of the new program.</p>
