Here is just a quick sum up of what people said on my other forum in total. Please respond if you have any other advice.
-Get good grades, but don’t kill yourself to do them
-Be participated in your schools clubs, but don’t overdo it
-Try a sport – you don’t need to be good at it, but show commitment to it and you’ll be fine
-Make yourself stand out with your experiences. (Volunteer work, an overnight camp that’s special in some way, etc…)
-Don’t be fixated on BS! It’s not everything in life!
-Take the SSAT more than once to improve your scores if you didn’t do so well the first time.
-Be calm in interviews and show yourself – not who the school WANTS you to be! Also, if you don’t like a school – chances are they won’t like you.
-Take a deep breath and just enjoy life!
