Public to Prep School Transition

Hi! Just got into Exeter and I’m ecstatic!
I am currently attending a not-very-rigorous public middle school (where I have pretty much perfect grades), which was a large part of my motivation for applying to Exeter. I’m really looking forward to taking classes that are challenging and interesting, and I’d like some advice on what I can do to be ready for Exeter and some strategies for dealing with high workload, stress, etc… (By the way, since I will be a day student, any advice on that would be nice, too.)
Thanks!

Me too, I’m in the same situation… Not a day student though

@ravenclaw3 for now, I would just enjoy the great news and relax. Enjoy the last few months at your school. The great thing about PEA is you will test into language and math classes, so you will be placed at the right level. You also get to pick your science class, so you can decide what interests you. The first trimester is pass/ fail. This allows you the time to adjust to a new way of learning ( Harkness), without having it affect your GPA. All kids have a transition period when they get to PEA as it is such a unique learning environment.
If there is an admitted kids social in Your area, I suggest you attend. You will see that not all kids who attend are geniuses- you will be just fine. Feel free to PM me with any additional questions.
