I have a friend who is an amazing poet (and that is not a compliment I give out often...or ever). She is very shy, though.

However, she gave me several of her poems and told me to do with them what I will.

I would LOVE to get them published for her, but I have NO IDEA how to go about doing this. Does anyone here have experience with this?

Well, there's a book called Poet's Market, which lists pages upon pages upon pages of information about poetry magazines/journals--who they publish, what kind of poetry they publish, who their audience is...

There's also Teen Ink. But your friend would be in the company of many rather poor teenaged poets. (Most teenaged poets are rather poor. If you can tell it's a teenager, then it's usually a bad poem, in my opinion.)
