what songs do you guys listen to help you get motivated?
300 violin orchestra

Till I Collapse- Eminem
Lose Yourself- Eminem
Remember the Name- Fort Minor
New Divide- Linkin park

Yeah…I can’t think of any others right now, but I’ve got more.

Here’s my old workout playlist:
Black Eyed Peas- Pump It
Eminem - Lose Yourself
Eminem - Till I Collapse
Daft Punk - Harder Better Faster Stronger

Roy Jones - Can’t Be Touched
Fort Minor - Remember the Name

Kelly Clarkson - People Like Us

Most of those are old. Haven’t updated that playlist in a while. I added a couple that weren’t on there but are still motivational. :)

leave out all the rest - linkin park
burn it down - linkin park
all the above - maino
demons - imagine dragons

Green Day - Basket Case, Nice guys finish last, Holiday, etc.
blink-182 - The Rock Show, d**mit, etc.
Plus some Crush 40 (band that frequents plays music in Sonic the Hedgehog games), Linkin Park, Fort minor and other fast-paced rock.

Also, I listen to some DnB to pump me up. Check out The Prodigy, Pendulum, and Knife Party.

I just listened to Bruce Springsteen’s album Greetings From Asbury Park, N.J. to get pumped up for the summer.

His song Working on the Highway is great for getting ready to do some good old fashioned hard work.

A more sentimental song of his that gets me energized and excited is Thunder Road. It goes from nostalgia with a piano intro that sounds like the beginning of a brand new day, to the narrator’s attempt to reach out to an old friend and comfort her, to an impassioned plea to escape on a road to glory. It’s about the worst song in the world to get ready for competition, but it’s probably the best song in the world for going from depressed, apathetic, or whatever, to being ready to take on life with passionate optimism.

I’ve been obsessed with The Boss lately, so I’m inclined to think of anything by him. He puts so much enthusiasm into his music it’s insane, even in the slower songs.

The River (an album by guess who) is also an ultra-energetic rock album that seems to represent the optimum of his career: he hadn’t yet abandoned his roots in the Jersey Shore sound (note: nothing to do with the TV show) but he had already figured out how to make a rocking super-hit.

I often listen to it while working when I want to feel like what I’m doing is not necessarily the most important thing I’ve ever done, but certainly very fun and exciting.

Oohhh gurlll, Panic! at the Disco is the ultimate pump up band!
