How good is BA in Economics from the College of Liberal Arts? After I realized that the Economics Department is actually part of Krannert Business School and that business school also has a BS in Economics, I am wondering if the students in the BA program are more like a second-class citizen? It seems quite obvious that if the faculty is part of business school then business school students will get preference.
