I'll chance back!

Hi there. I already had a chance thread (UIUC, Rose-Hulman, Stanford, MIT), but, after much consulting with my parents and copious amounts of research, I have found myself a school that had the best of the two categories I had in my mind (and in my parents', too). I've decided since then that I will apply to UIUC (since the general consensus last time was that that would be a "safety" school), Wisconsin, Michigan, and Purdue, this being my first choice. I'll repost all of my statistics.

Well, here we go:

Objective:

ACT: 33 (34 English, 31 Math, 33 Reading, 33 Science)
Unweighted GPA: 4.0
Rank: 1 (shared with about 10 others)
AP: I'm taking 2/3 (maybe 3/4) offered at my school. I'm currently in AP Chemistry with. I am receiving an A, and I have passed all of our exams without a curve. Next year I will be taking AP US History and AP Calculus if our school decides to offer it. I am also self-studying for three AP's to take this May: Comparative Gov't, Human Geography, and Psychology.
Senior Year Course Load: Band, Spanish 12, Physics, (AP?) Calculus, AP US History, Yearbook, PE (required), Principles of Engineering Tech.
Major Awards (USAMO, Intel etc.): I haven't received my PSAT/NMSQT scores yet, but, based on past scores, I think I have a good chance of being a merit scholar. If I pass all of my AP exams this year, I will be an AP Scholar with Honor.

Subjective:
Extracurriculars: Yearbook (editor), Marching Band, Thespians, Spanish Club, Rotary
Summer Activities: Yearbook Camp, Band Camp. I'm also planning on trying to attend
Essays: I'm generally a pretty good writer so I'll probably do all right.
Recommendations: I know the teachers/counselors pretty well so I imagine i'll get pretty good recs.

Other
Applied for Financial Aid?: I will
Intended Major: Civil or Mechanical Engineering
State (if domestic applicant): IL
School Type: Public, sends few grads to top schools
Ethnicity: Cuban
Gender: Dude
Income Bracket: Middle/Upper-Middle (?)
Hooks (URM, first generation college, etc.): Well... i'm an URM! That's just about it...

Strengths: Test scores, difficulty of courseload, personality, essays/recs
Weaknesses: Extracurriculars, volunteer work, work exp.
