I have received admission offers from the first three universities and am still awaiting my decision from San Jose,however i have done all the plannings regarding SJSU. I am accepted to the Computer Science program of all 3 universities.
I am really confused as to which one to choose.
Boston University is off the list because I haven’t received ample scholarships and I can’t afford it.
My parents can pay the complete fee, including extra expenses, of SJSU but can only pay 3 year fee of Purdue and Penn State. They really want me to choose to SJSU.
What attracts me in Purdue and Penn State: big university, reputed and world known CS program, higher position in world rankings.
What attracts me in SJSU: location(Silicon Valley itself), better internship and job opportunities, higher post graduation median salaries.
My concerns regarding SJSU are: not well known outside the Silicon Valley(I have read it on CC and experienced it too), it doesn’t exist at all in any rankings, have heard that it’s a mass recruitment university(I don’t if that’s good or bad), people from my group chats of other universities say that choose Purdue over San Jose.
P.S. My parents are ready to take a loan for the 4th year just in case I am not able to get into SJSU or choose Purdue or Penn State
I am having a very tough time.
HELP ME!!!
Hardly 2 weeks left to commit to any of these universities.
