Alebed I assure you that BY STATE LAW, every school must offer at least one AP Class.

And 11 is not enough..
its not very uncommon for a student to take 4 APs all 4 yrs
and some of them get all 5s..

so its already at 16...

anyways just see wat happens

I never suggested that I wanted or thought I had a chance at it, I was just curious as I have previously stated.

question: When do most National AP Scholars receive their recognition? If it's senior year, then it won't help for colleges anyway.

Can you receive that award/is it common to receive it
at the end of junior year?

I don't think it is state law for schools to offer at least 1 AP class. I know a school that do not offer any APs. Not even 1. And I'm sure there are others.

My son was National AP Scholar last year...there were about 6,000 total, but only five who got it after 10th grade (he was one of those five). And all of the test count equally now; the CB has dropped the distinction between full year and half year courses for its awards.

does not do* Argh typos aggravate me.

yea.. its pretty hard to get 8 APs done by end of sophomore yr..
i got in at the end of my junior yr...

Sarorah if you will read my posts, I was obviously and blatantly referring to just South Carolina. I do not know for other states.
