Can you put middle school information on a college application? I found that I won more awards and was involved more when I was in middle school. What about elementary?

No, they want information on grades 9-12, only.

Lol, this is bordering on trollish. Don’t even consider putting elementary school ECs on your application, or middle school.

EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
Second grade - I learned my times tables.

I mean, I received some awards in my middle school year.My principal gave me an award out of the whole school.

What about if I was in girl scouts in elementary though?

You’re just not allowed to put activities from lower than high school.
If you’re still involved with girl scouts, you can put it on your app. but definitely not if you only did it in elementary school. Kids in elementary school don’t have a grasp on who they are yet, so obviously the random activities you did when you were 7 or so would mean nothing to admissions officers.

Those awards are really minor, IMO.

haha, my mom told me to do this. it made me giggle. just saying.

Don’t do it.

And once you get into college, all the high school stuff has to go off your resume…

how about winning a regional(300,000people) varsity championship oversea in 8th grade?

not unless you cured cancer 7th grade

If you have played an instrument or participated in an extracurricular activity throughout middle and continued it through high school, I think it shows commitment, and so sometimes it is relevant.

If you played in instrument or some other EC from middle school to high school, just list your participation in it in high school.

Just think about it for a second…

Putting in awards from middle school only highlights the fact that you didn’t get any in high school.

Do you really want to do that?

Two words: straw grasping

So if I joined Art Club from Elementary School to High School, then can I put it on my application form?

If I go to a community college instead and then go to a university, can I put my high school information on my form?
