If you've held a leadership position in a club or had unusual extracurricular experience (like being an attorney) in middle school, can you still note that in applications?

My daughter has had 3 interviews so far this summer and each one of them told her to include an activity that she was primarily involved in during elementary and jr high. It involved traveling across the country etc… it didn’t have anything to do with school. She did dancing and acting. If it is unusual and you won high honors for it and helped shape who you are I would include it. If it is something like student council president in 8th grade- no do not include something like that. I would encourage you to talk to college admissions counselors if you can this summer or at least your high school guidance counselor. This is just one moms opinion. :)
