Colleges:

MIT (probably not)
Harvey Mudd
UCSD (1st choice)
SDSU (safety)

Opinions?

bump

Can't anyone comment on my chances at said schools?

ivany:

UCSD: Safe Match

MIT with a 3.59 UW is probably not gonna happen. You look good for the rest of them though (i think)

Are you instate for UCSD?

MIT is a longshot with your GPA, but you have been working a lot of hours and that may be taken into account. Harvey Mudd is certainly worth applying to. Do you have a major or two in mind?

I live in San Diego, so yes, in-state on UCSD.

I am thinking of either Computer Science or Electrical Engineering (or some of both)

Don't really have my hopes up for MIT, not sure if I really even want to go there. UCSD is #1 choice.

ivany:

Revised,
UCSD: Match (Engineering)

U of Rochester or Case would be matches for you. WPI might also be a good alternative to MIT.
