Check your emails. What'd you guys get? I got Spring 10 and Spring 11. I think I've read on here though that some introsems (that you can even take freshman year) can give you credit for PWR2. Is this true?

It doesn’t work for you? I just tried it again and it works for me. And yeah lots of 2013’s have got an email regarding PWR. Maybe yours will come a little later? Dunno =[

Yes, some introsems fulfill PWR2. However, if you’re a freshman looking to take a PWR2 fulfilling introsem, usually the prerequisite is to take PWR1. I took a PWR2 fulfilling introsem in the winter, which required PWR1 to be taken in the fall. Look through the introsem catalog and make sure you plan to take PWR1 early if you want to take this path.

Also, PWR2 introsems are very popular. Usually it’s very competitive to get accepted to one.

PWR assignments can be changed through a petition form. You’ll probably get an email about it soon. They take pretty much any reasonable excuse, for instance if you want to take a PWR2 introsem later on, it’s reasonable to say you want PWR 1 earlier as a result. In my experience they’re fairly flexible with the reassignment, but since they get bombarded with requests the first week of school or so, be patient and resubmit if you have a good excuse and it gets denied. Don’t just say “I write better in the Spring”.

i’m another person that got spring '10 and '11. i’m kind of glad though. after reading more recommendations on other threads i’m hoping to take a couple introsems to knock out my science GER.

Skyraptor, initially I was sent an e-mail with an incorrect URL. I was sent an e-mail with the correct URL after. Check again and see whether or not you got one.
