<p>How close does the SAT score need to be to make it to finalist and is it the single sitting score or superscore? </p>
<p>D got 229 on the PSAT, 2230 on first sitting, 2200 second sitting, 2360 superscore.</p>

<p>I asked this question a few months back and no one responding then seemed to have a definite answer, but the consensus was that over 2000 would be likely.</p>
<p>With your D's scores, it seems like an automatic win to me, but I am guessing.</p>
<p>Thanks. I thought it was pretty funny that her scores were so variable in the two sittings. CR went way up and M and W went down:)</p>
