Does anyone know whether more than one test form was administered in the US on Saturday in May? If so, then there should be more than one QAS test returned to US students. If not, then students in very different time zones sat the same test.
Further, International students are reporting that SAT Practice Test #6 is the test they took in May. That would mean the Saturday international test was recycled to use on Sunday in the US.
I don’t see how CB can further alter the tests that have already been released as Practice Tests 5 and 6.
I can only confirm that PT 5 was, in terms of content, what I remember taking for the Saturday May test in the U.S.
I can also confirm that it’s now 9/13… and still no QAS in my mailbox. I did get a sign that the holidays aren’t too far away, as I got my first Harry & David catalog in the mail… I truly feel sorry for the students who had hoped to use it extensively as a tool to help them improve for October.
I started with a new student today. She also took the May SAT and was wondering where her QAS was as well. Not much in today’s mail other than some random ads… all in all a disappointing trip to the mailbox.
Why not… It’s now 9/19, and still no QAS in the mailbox. Oct. SAT is 11 days away. I am so glad I didn’t commit to taking Oct. test for further research purposes, because I wouldn’t be able to use those results until 2017 or later. CB, get your head out of the sand for once and just send us the doggone info for which we paid. BTW, my wife picked up the mail today, and I was told only junk was in the mail…
Yes, no QAS. I can never just let it go, so I called AGAIN. In process. I asked if that meant it had been mailed, or was in the process of being mailed. Took a few attempts to drum the point in. I was told it was in the mail, and would arrive by Sept. 22, because “QAS began to be mailed out August 25th”. Circular idiocy. Did they BEGIN to mail on August 25th, or was mine mailed? ANd , politely, what could possibly take so long wince the scores had been sent long ago. Explanation: The SAT was redesigned in March. Am I crazy or is this insane? Who is the captain of this ship?
PS A top person will call me within 5 days to address my question. Will fill everyone in.
I got a call from a “more senior person” today. They said that I “can call again” if I don’t get it by 10/7. They said it was not mailed 8/24 even though two previous operators told me that. Those operators were apparently "uninformed. " when asked why it is taking so long I was told it was because of the redesign. Asked if they had problems in March with Answer service. They said they did not. I said well if test 5 is May and you have no problem with answer service then why are we still waiting? The person I was talking to said they didn’t know if test 5 was May…I should call Khan academy about that.

Maybe there is the possibility that Test #5 was not the May test. Sounds like they’re still messing with the test before it goes public. They don’t need any more negative publicity than they’re already getting.
I took May. Test #5 is, essentially, the May test that I took. I don’t have a specific memory of every math problem, but the Reading/English passages were what I read on test day. Of course… time for my semi-weekly mail update. Today I received my DVD set for Modern Family, Season 7… but… surprise… no QAS. To those making phone calls and being thorns in the SAT’s side… WAY TO GO!!!
For morning comic relief. Although I was told definitively that I would receive my QAS by Sept 22, I did not.I did get an email from a specialist: I am flummoxed re what goes on in this processing center.

ZING! POW! OH YEAH!!! October SAT is this Saturday. Still no May QAS.
For perspective on how long we’re having to wait: When I took the May test my son was 7.5 months old. He had almost no hair, was still only babbling sounds, and couldn’t move around on his own. This week he turns the big “1”. He has a full head of hair, will walk any day now, crawls like a speed demon, and is vocalizing multiple tones on the few words he knows.
By the way, in today’s mail… we received the new Consumer Reports with ratings on coffee makers. We’re going to need a new one here in the QAS waiting room soon…
No Saturday QAS yet here in Tennessee. I can only assume the Sunday one came out because not as many students were eligible to take it. As for now… nothing in my mail today but bills and an ad for a housecleaning service. I should forward that to the SAT department at the CB because they still have a huge mess on their hands…
Ladies and Gentlemen of the waiting room… I have just received my QAS. I will be analyzing it as the week moves along. I’m not looking at it now because my students now are looking to the October ACT… but hey, I now have it. College Board finally delivered on its promise… almost 4 months after giving the test. I am so sorry for the students who had hoped to have it as an October study tool.
