Hi,

I was wondering if anyone can tell me how many more Bs I can afford before I have too low of a GPA for michigan. I'm really worried about the GPA part becuase I currently have a 3.9 after 2 year UW, but I've gotten not 1, not 2, but 3 Bs all in academic classes!! To make things worse, this happened during my sophomore year (in AP chem, precalc, and SS10) which is half of the GPA Umich looks at, since frosh, senior, and non-academic classes don't count. So I was wondering how many more Bs you guys think I can afford before I turn into a Buckeyes fan (boooooooooooooo) since I'll have a grudge against michigan for not getting in.

Also, how easy is it to transfer into Umich from a state school? How early can I transfer in? (ie after 1 day? 1 Week? 1 month? 1 semester? etc.)

Here are my stats so you can judge from this:
demographics:
*I am an Asian Indian Male (most likely won't help)
*From a competitive public high school in Oregon: Beaverton High School, which was also rated the best AP school in Oregon, so yeah, its a smart school. (being from oregon isn't going to help either)
*student body at school = 500+

IN SUMMARY: I should finish high school with around 3.75 or 3.8 UW GPA, but I'll do what ever I can to prevent that from happening. If I go down in flames, then I'll end up with a 3.7.

*class rank UW right now = 38/515. Weighted = 30/515 (will go up because not many kids have taken hard classes yet)

*Right now I get about a 1920-2050 on the SAT, 28-30 on ACT according to Practice Tests for SAT, and the PLAN (it's like the PSAT for SAT except the ACT version) on ACT, but I'm shooting for at least a 2100 on the SAT and 32 on the ACT. Don't count on me getting a 2100 or a 32 because its not going to happen as far as I can tell right now

Thanks

EDIT: Okay to clear up that last sentence in the first paragraph I meant how many more Bs can I afford before I can't get accepted into michigan, and because of this become a buckeyes fan because of my everlasting grudge against michigan for not getting in. Just to clear that up since after re-reading it it didn't make any sense.
