Q's by Prospective Haas Applicants

do econ :D

So lest say you do 2 years and when you apply for econ, you don't make it?

Scramble and run for an easy major to get into. It shouldn't be that difficult to get into Econ so long as you have a 3.2 in the Econ major prereqs GPA.

@ collegegirl17: prereqs can be found here: Prerequisite Courses, Undergraduate Program - Haas School of Business, University of California Berkeley

i think that's pretty much self explanatory? confusion is that most students finish their GE's their first 2 years, but haas requires a different set of breadths (GE's) especially for applying to haas.

this is a bit of a bizzare question, but currently once you're accepted into Haas you must take two business classes (100 and 106) during the summer. I read somewhere on the website that if you've already taken it before, you won't be required to take it again. So, theoretically, if I take both of those classes during sophomore year, I'll have a free summer (mostly to find an internship of some sort)?

I’ve taken about 13 community college classes during my high school career. These include several pre-reqs and core requirements. How would haas admissions consider those classes if I chose to get credit for them?
