Hey ya’ll I’m a junior at an ultra-competitive public school both academically and athletically in the 5A division in Houston, TX. I’m really interested in attending West Point but i have a few questions and would like to know my chances.

SAT: 2200(taking again on saturday)
GPA: W 4.6 UW 3.9
Rank: 73/1106
AP’s:
Soph- WHAP-4
Jr- USHAP-(confident in a 5) Psych-(3-5) Eng III(3-4)
Sr. ?
EC’s: Football (Regional semi-finalists- people who know tx football know this is a big deal), Will be receiving my Eagle Scout soon, Powerlifting

If it matters I feel I can get the maximums on the PT tests except for the run times
6’1" 198#

Here’s my questions

I am VERY moderately colorblind but have pretty bad vision (20/200) am I a strong enough candidate to where I would receive a waiver.

If waived for the academy, would my vision problems need to be waived again for certain schools (rangers, airborne, etc)

Are most cadets skinny highshool JROTC type nerds or kids who have excelled academically and athletically (I ask because none of the good athletes I know, save one, want to go to a service academy)

Thank you so much.
