How big is a quad in Thurston? I got a quad and I'm just really curious as to what the layout will be like. two rooms and a living room? one big room?

Check out this site that might be somewhat helpful.

Still - someone who’s been there done that would be better - hopefully they will reply.

A quad in Thurston (S lived in one) is one large room, with 2 closets (1 smaller, 1 walk-in) and a bathroom. The one large room has to fit 4 beds; some roommates unbunk them all (which leaves very little floor space around all the furniture) or combinations of bunk/single beds. There are also 4 desks, 4 dressers (which are sometimes placed in the closets), a refrigerator and a microwave. It’s a very cozy arrangement. I would check the layout at the link CJ provided.

They’re all one room, but some are bigger than others. I lived in 2 last year (changed rooms mid-year) and my first one was a former double converted to a quad. It was just as long as a normal quad, but about a third as wide. I literally had to climb to get to my bed in the back of the room. My second quad, however, was one of the biggest rooms I’ve seen in Thurston. It’s all luck of the draw.
