<p>I'll be transferring to Stony Brook in the fall and would like to know your opinions on the quads. </p>
<p>Also, is it safe at night? I may have to walk a long way from my night class to my dorm, depending on where I'll live. </p>
<p>Safety is a priority on campus; and university police has a walk service and a ride service if you don’t feel like going by yourself.</p>
<p>For transfers, though, you don’t have a whole lot of choice on housing. You’re placed where the spaces are, by and large.</p>
