Just got word today that I am medically qualified. I think that this means that I am good to go on medical (they just have to send the results to USNA) but I am not 100% sure. If anyone could clarify for me that would be great.

Dodmerb will forward your medical exam to the Acad. If you have no remedials to have corrected you should be good to go. I suggest making a copy of everything just in case

Good Luck Alaska! We Parents Are Wishing You The Best!

TXinAK-

it will take a bit of time, but eventually you should be able to view the update to your file on the academy's CIS....

congrats, and one hurdle done!

But you're WAY ahead of the curve in getting this piece outta the way. Way to go! Rolling admissions favors candidates like you.

Keep it rolling on your end and good luck. You might wanna do alot of sauna sitting this winter. Good prep for Annapolis summatime.

Surprisingly in Anchorage it does not get below about 20° during the wintertime. We are right on the Pacific Ocean and the Jet Stream and it stays pretty temperate, but it does not get as hot during the summer time (only the 60°s/70°s and sometimes the 80°s). But I am really a Texan at heart and I actually prefer the heat :-)
