From what I’ve heard, each college has a certain quality they look for in applicants. For example, for MIT it seems to be hard working, for Princeton it’s passion, and for Berkeley its quirkiness. What are some others you know or have heard of?
I doubt there’s a single quality that any school is looking for. You’re not going to survive long at any school if you’re not hardworking or you don’t have passion about what you’re studying/what you plan to do with your studies. You can’t have an entire school filled with quirky people either.
That is silly. There is no one quality that a college looks for in all of its applicants. Each college seeks to develop a well-rounded class.
They want a rounded class. They don’t want the whole class with the same kind of students.
