Quality of Neuroscience or Genetics major at select colleges

When I say 'best', I mean everything pertaining to quality. Quality of professors, quality of the actual degree at that specific school. For example, do I have to do all of the work, or will the classroom actually help me to memorize the material? I'm taking a Biology course at a community college, until senior year in HS begins, and I HATE it. The actual material being taught is VERY unorganized and random. The professor is nice, but she isn't thorough at all. So, please write your opinions about the neuroscience and/or genetics major(s) offered at the following colleges:

1) SUNY Stony Brook
2) U of Rochester
3) Syracuse University
4) Union College
5) Boston University

Which one (in your opinion) is the best choice for the two majors listed above? If you're not certain about neuro or genetics, what about Biology in general? Thanks!

No one? Should I bump it a couple times and see what happens?

Not even a few views???

2) University of Rochester has a very strong program in neuroscience and, I believe, in genetics as well. While you may on occasion get a professor whose teaching style does not mesh with your learning style (or who’s just a lousy teacher), generally they are very strong. Good program, lots of research opportunities, all around good school.

4) Union College - strong science/engineering programs for a LAC. Much smaller than the other schools on your list. Again, there’s no saying that you’ll love every professor or that they’re all good teachers, but there’s a good cahnce that you won’t hate them all.

Rochester is very, very strong in all the life sciences.
