Can I send quarter year grades along with my SCEA application? I will most likely be receiving straight A’s on my quarter year grades so I would like to send those to support my upward trend in grades. My quarter year grades will be released before the Nov 1 deadline
Every college will expect you to send those grades.
So I/my guidance counsellor send them initially? Or are they supposed to request them?
Is this the FIRST TIME your guidance counselor is submitting an application to a US college? If your GC has done this at least once, they know the drill. All YOU have to do is send your GC an invite through the Common Application using their email address and let them do their job. Your GC will upload your current transcript, with grades 9-12 (or as much of the 12th grade transcript that is available), along with the Secondary School Report (SSR) they fill out on your behalf and your high school’s profile.
Okay thank you! I will talk to my guidance counsellor to confirm this
