Queries about Common App and Other Application Processes

<p>Hey there, </p>

<p>I have a few queries about Common App. I am from CBSE background; my school doesn't have a counselor so instead it'll be my Principal who does that work. </p>

<ol>
<li><p>In Grades section, what should I fill in Grad. Class Size (section size or whole class size), considering the fact that Boards are nationwide my actual class size will be HUGE. </p></li>
<li><p>In the same section what do I have to fill in Cumulative GPA ? I have most of my grades in percent or 10.0 scale.</p></li>
<li><p>Next in Current Year Course, I am assuming I should just fill in P,C,M,CS as normal subject without any of the accelerated/ap etc bubbles filled. (In Semester mode) </p></li>
<li><p>In the Activites section, can I fill in the achievements like some Inter-school school quiz or similar one time event ? If not, is there a separate section for that ? </p></li>
</ol>

<p>Other than that I have a query NOT related to CA. The colleges which ask for TOEFL or IELTS as proof of English Proficiency state that it is required for International whose native language is not English or have not studied in an English institution for 3 years or more. I have studied in an English medium school since kindergarten, do I still have to take TOEFL ? </p>

<p>Guys, please reply! Even if you don’t know answers to all the questions but can clarify some of my doubts it’ll be of a great help. I’ll do my part to try and look through CC before posting any answered questions. </p>

<p>Anyways, I am also applying to Cal Poly SLO (Origin of above question for Toefl/ielts; now you might have a better insight at it). I noticed there is a section for International Academic Evaluation. What is it ? I don’t have any honors or equivalent do I have to go through that ? Hopefully I don’t, cause I am not in shape to spend extra $140… </p>
