Hey There!!

Can anyone tell me how the molecular biology program is at UTD at the undergrad level? Does anyone know about the biology department?

Also, I think there are no regular courses on campus to learn foreign languages like Russian. But does anyone know of any courses or places around campus where students can learn languages? How accessible are these places?

Either Colin County CC or Brookhaven CC in that area of Dallas offer many foreign languages. I know one (not sure which one) teaches a bunch of them…even lots of less popular ones.

An April 2010 article from the alternate UT Dallas newspaper A Modest Proposal - discusses language classes:

student gov is doing petitions and stuff to try to see if there are enough interest in foreign language courses and possibly allowing these language courses to count for the humanities core requirement

o and the bio program in pretty good based on the bio classes ive taken. but im not a bio major, so i dont know about upper level courses.

thanks for the article ignatius…2015 is hell late…I would graduate by then!
bigreddawgie: would you know someone who’s majoring in a biology subject?
