@Naperthrill I already imagined the different scenarios, from being rejected and disappointed to being accepted and possibly getting one of the awards. Luckily, I’m on spring break now (my school has a late spring break, I know), and the days are going by pretty quickly for me. Hopefully results come out before I have to go back to prison–I mean–school. :-B
I GOT AN EMAIL TODAY SAYING I WAS NOMINATED FOR THE NOTRE DAME SUMMER PROGRAM FROM QUESTBRIDGE!! I have to submit tax documents and a supplementary essay by next Tuesday.

@absolutevalue It’d be safe to assume they were selected as a college prep scholar.
@Hamlon Haha, what I meant was if those “you are selected as a College Prep Scholar” emails have been sent out to select people already. I figured that any student selected for a summer program would be a College Prep Scholar though
No but by the contents of the email I think it’s safe to assume I have been accepted. I believe they contacted me early due to the deadlines of the program itself and the whole logistics of it.

@Volunteerism Do they have any information about when the parts of the Quest for Excellence Awards that aren’t summer programs (like the monetary awards for new technology) are announced?

Would you mind posting stats being that you are the only known college prep scholar in the forum thus far?
The forums are slacking this year. Only one person was notified about a program, in previous years, there were at least 3-5 people on the forum notified.
