I have several questions about the Questbridge program.

If, heaven forbid, I'm not accepted into the program, can I use the same application to apply to the schools I've ranked for ED and RD? Or do I need to use the common app?

Is my application fee waived even if I'm not a finalist and apply ED or even RD?

I have a job almost everyday and on the weekends and both my parents work 7 days a week. Because of this, I haven't been able to visit any campuses. Will this hurt me? I'm specifically applying to Rice and I've heard this is a large factor for them. Is this true?

Do I fill out the supplements to QuestBridge forms (most of the schools I ranked require this) even if I'm, again heaven forbid, not a finalist?

Would it be advantageous for me to submit a Common App in addition to the QuestBridge application?

Thank you for answering. Also can someone explain what is bumping.

someone?? Anyone???

By program, what do you mean? I’m assuming you mean College Match? Yes, if you’re not matched, you can “forward” your Questbridge application to the schools. Keep in mind, this is me assuming you’re a finalist and ranked colleges, which makes you eligible for the college match round. if you’re a finalist and you didn’t rank colleges, you’re not being considered for the college match and you can still fwrd your QB app for RD. If you’re not a finalist, you can also fwrd your QB app for RD.

Depends on the school. Some do, some don’t. Check [Regular Decision Requirements](QuestBridge)

I’ve read and heard this too… I’m sorry, I don’t know. I have a close friend that’s a freshman there and she visited before she applied (her application was very strong as it was though… so again, I don’t know)

Are you a junior? …I’m assuming so because finalist results were sent out last Friday and you would know if you have to submit things by now. If you’re a finalist and you ranked, you fill out all supplements for your ranked colleges and get them in by Nov 1 (for this year’s college match round). Some schools require CommonApp and their supplements, so keep this in mind. If you’re a finalist and you didn’t rank, you still do the supplements for RD. If you’re not a finalist, you do them as well. Each round has its own deadlines and requirements, keep this in mind. Go to [Application Components & Requirements](QuestBridge)
and scroll down to “college match requirements for finalists” and “regular decision requirements”

…Some schools require you to for the College Match round. Some require for RD round. If they don’t require it, I would say don’t do it.

This is a concise explanation:

Hope this helps!

Thank you for your reply. I’m actually a senior and I have been accepted as a finalist. I actually posted this during the abysmal waiting period between 30 Sept and 21 Oct.
