I’m a low income first gen student looking to apply to CMC for fall 2022. I am 100% sure I’m applying early. However, I’m not sure how. My GPA and academics and ECs are weak enough that I’d get knocked if I applied EDII. And I don’t think I’d become a Questbridge finalist. So dilemma, should I go for two low % chances (Questbridge and EDII) or one slightly higher % one (EDI)? EDI means a less competitive applicant pool I think.
Major - economics… with bad grades in my economics class & expected average AP test results.
I’m a part of 2 organizations with leadership roles, both of which are very “strong” for my application. GPA ~3.8 UW, 4.4 W.
Thanks!
Why do you think your chances are higher in CMC EDI than QB or CMC EDII?
What is plan B if you don’t get into CMC EDI?
If you apply to QB, you would find out whether you are a finalist before EDI deadlines, so I would do that…if you aren’t a finalist you could still apply to CMC EDI.
Do you have an SAT/ACT test score?
