Has anyone on here been matched with Princeton through QB?
Do you think it helps significantly with admissions or should I just do RD?

D was matched to Amherst through QB, but she had ranked it #1. Princeton was #3. It is non-biniding, so there we be no disadvantage, only a huge boost!

I think QB can be a disadvantage for some. They pick so few for the Match round so the admit rate is actually a lot lower than RD admit rate.

I got into Princeton through QB RD. It could be a disadvantage…but if you’re at the tippy top of the QB-ers but average for regular, you’re better off applying through QB than through regular because Princeton has to accept SOME QB-ers right?

Princeton was my #1 match for QB, didn’t get matched, but got in through RD, got the same scholarship tho

Thing is, schools have to pay QB for matches, they are usually only willing to pay for high scoring, low income URM’s, i wasn’t that lucrative of an applicant lol

So, as a URM w/ a 2140, 3.79 UW, and okay EC’s, and 0 EFC, do you guys think it would be more beneficial to use QB?
