Questbridge process Help me please!

I have been doing research on Questbridge and I qualify without a doubt.
I have seen the requirements and such on the website, but I am not so sure about the whole process.
I was wondering if anyone who have gone through the whole process could explain to me step-by-step things to do. I have all the required things but I am not sure what I am supposed to do over the summer.
-If I am going to apply to the colleges through Questbridge, do I have to write the essays and resumes for the colleges before I apply? If not, when?
-Today is 6/15/2011 summer for me and I don’t know what I should be preparing this summer.
Thank you. I just want to know what I have supposed to do. If you come to my page, you can see the chance me stuff with everything that I have on it if that will help at all thank you.

Hi, Isaac,
My son was a finalist last year, but I’m not sure what you’re asking. QuestBridge doesn’t require you to do anything over the summer, although the QB application is due Sept. 30th, so getting a good start on your essays would be helpful. You can also research the QB partner colleges to decide which 8 you would rank. Here’s a link to the application timeline on their (greatly improved) website that might be helpful.

[Application Components & Requirements](http://www.questbridge.org/for-students/ncm-application-components)

scoutsmom’s link should answer a lot of your questions.

You should check the QuestBridge website since some applications through QuestBridge require you fill out either the Common App, the school’s supplement, or any other combination. (For example, I remember that for USC I only had to fill out two sections of their supplement but for UPenn I had to fill out all the supplements.)

The process is pretty starightforward and is a great opportunity. I was a finalist, but not a match yet I’m still going to an Ivy League school with $0 of EFC.

what kind of schools did you ask to match with adriennevaughan? If you didn’t get to a school through questbridge, but is still going to an IVY League, does that mean Questbridge is a harder way to go to school?

Schools accept very few students during the College Match process, so most likely you will not match with any schools you rank. However, it’s much different during the RD round–about half of all finalists are accepted to a Questbridge school. Personally, I was accepted to both schools at which I used the QB application: Wesleyan and Williams (of course, you can apply to many more schools than that).
Just know that you won’t have the opportunity to edit your application after you send it to Questbridge in the fall, so make sure your essays are perfect beforehand–work on them early.

yeah, I’m going for the big full-scholarship/full-ride, when you weren’t accepted by the college match, did you get almost all your tuition covered to Wesleyan and Williams? I have real financial problems that are hindering my way to college so I have to try everything I can to go to a prestigious school with as much scholarships as I can because my family can’t handle the financial troubles  Please help. If you go to my page, I basically put up my resume with all the stuff that I did .
